Charlotte a great trainer & handles the dogs wonderfully, plus she is amazing with the humans.
In fact she let my 10 year old daughter join in the training of our dog. She explained everything so well to my daughter. Took her time & was very encouraging with her. I highly recommend Charlotte for your family dog certainly if you have kids.

Charlotte understands the dogs better than any other trainer out there. She instinctually knows how they need to learn. I have seen her correct seriously bad habits within minutes. She has turned our EXTREMELY reactive and aggressive dog into a loving, obedient member of our family. In addition, her rescue work is remarkable! she takes years of bad habits off in a couple of weeks. No one has a bigger heart and NO ONE else was able to give our “bad boy” a new outlook on life! Two other trainers gave up on our dog and we were certain that we would be forced to put him down. Charlotte SAVED him!

Charlotte has helped me with 2 of my dogs and the results have all been extremely positive and uplifting!! Her patience, willingness to teach, and professionalism is top class! Her abilities to read different types of dogs and provide insight that the owner can understand is so helpful! Myself, and my dogs are so thankful for everything she has taught us!!

We adopted Bandit, our yellow lab mix puppy, from a shelter when he was four months old. We were immediately drawn to his enthusiastic and good natured personality, but knew early on that finding a training environment where he could socialize with other puppies as well as learn all of the basic obedience commands a young dog needs. After the first class Bandit had formed an immediate bond with Charlotte and we also had the opportunity to meet her two wondefully trained dogs Zeus and Toluca, giving us a example of her training technique, and what we might be able to expect down the road with out dog. Each week we had a breakthrough with Bandit, whether it was learning not to jump up when greeting a stranger or learning to come when called. Charlotte’s style of training really focuses on building a foundation through repetition, but in a way that is fun and stimulating for both the dogs and owners. After completing the puppy course we were thrilled with the progress we had made together, and will continued our training with her in the next course basic obedience. To anyone interested in working with Charlotte as a dog trainer, we would recommend her 100%. She has an absolute passion for what she does, it always happy to answer any questions, and has helped Bandit on his way to becoming a well mannered and confident puppy.

Charlotte was a pleasure to work with, her insight and experience with dog behavior is impressive. My recently adopted dog Skeeter had gotten himself into a few dogs fights, Charlotte helped me socialize him with appropriate dogs. She guided me with clues as to what to look for when trying to better understand my his actions. I was amazed at how the smallest motions can say a lot. From simple training techniques to socializing she knows her stuff and is committed.

I contacted you due to Ocho’s aggession towards other dogs. We both benefitted from working with you. Ocho’s confidence increased and you taught me to just relax and guide him. We really enjoyed class, Charlotte has such a great outlook on things, I always felt so at ease. Whenever I was stuck and I couldn’t get him to do the task at hand, she always had the solution for what I was doing wrong! I would recommend her to anyone needing any kind of training help with their dog.

Charlotte did a great job in organizing each class. She was patient, knowledgeable and clear in her instructions. Charlotte also took time to observice each owner/dog pair and provided personalized feedback and advice. I think the class was most helpful and not stressful on either the dog or owner. My dog (a rescue with abuse/neglect history) definitely benefited from the socialization and class structure. I would highly recommend her training classes.

We decided to get a new puppy after our family dog (also a golden retriever) had passed. I knew I had made some mistakes with my prior dog in her training and I wanted to see if I could learn how to avoid them. I found Charlotte’s Puppy Kindergarten class. I have definitely learned about how to better communicate with my dog, how to better interact with her and help her to succeed with the behaviors I want. I have learned to better direct her behaviors and read her. I’m happy to say that I already feel like Lilly at 8 months old is better behaved that my previous dog and will be more welcome to be with me in public and friends home... win/win for everyone!
